Who is a Principle Enterprise Architect? The Principle Enterprise Architect has overall accountability for providing an architectural framework for applications system development, maintenance and enhancement efforts, and implementing the various architecture elements set forth by the established standards and guidelines. The Principle Enterprise Architect works closely with the Technology and Innovation leadership team, developers, product owners, digital experience leaders and other stakeholders to facilitate consensus on our enterprise architecture strategy that has the opportunity to impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of Canadians, every single day in and out of the clubs. The Principle Enterprise Architect is primarily responsible for establishing a platform strategy through the use of internally developed and third-party solutions to support the future technology and product roadmap of the organization. What will you be doing?
- Create, own and maintain a visionary enterprise architecture roadmap and organizational strategy to align business needs with technologies.
- Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
- Direct the cross-enterprise integration of business processes, technology solutions, data, Member experience, etc. to drive competitive capability, innovation and new revenue · Represent enterprise architecture interests within the enterprise and market successes. Provide periodic informal presentations on technical subjects to internal audiences.
- Serve as the lead architecture and technology authority in the enterprise for all business. and IT users. Act as centralized touchstone in looking at the “big picture” and bridging across the various technology platforms to ensure continuity of direction, leveraging of company assets, best practices, and overall integration.
- Leads and facilitates the design and implementation of repeatable technical solutions and processes related to technology architecture.
- Defines and documents efficient and transparent architectural principles, standards, and guidelines regarding the proper use and deployment of business applications, data, and technology within GoodLife.
- Partners with broader internal stakeholders to define architectural possibilities and futures. Works with business and development teams to recommend processes or system design enhancements. · Ensures that systems are functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated.
- Provides immediate response to critical production program-wide problems to evaluate solutions, coordinate applicable recovery, and ensure resolution.
